Story Synopsis

Big, The Musical burst onto Broadway in 1987, giving new life to the storyline
of the movie that the show was based on - Big, starring Tom Hanks.

In this witty and insightful look at growing up, 12-year old boy Josh Baskin
is fairly frustrated with life as he knows it. But after his wish of being big
unexpectedly comes true, he realizes that there is much more to being an
adult than he had bargained for.  With only his 12-year old friend, Billy
by his side, he quickly learns what it means to survive on his own as he is
thrust into the working world.  After being introduced to the adult world of jobs,
finance and even love, he realizes that 12-year olds don't have it that bad after
all, and that when we are ready, we all grow up at our own pace, in our own time.
