FAMILY
ENTERTAINMENT - For
almost 50 summers, hundreds of thousands of Manitobans and visitors from abroad have come to know and
love the high quality musical productions at Rainbow Stage. We are proud
to offer our audiences affordable family entertainment, as well as
training employment and performance opportunities for Manitobans.
TRAINING
for YOUTH - We
take pride in training tomorrow's talent, today, through apprenticeships and on-stage experience working
with world class directors and designers. Alumni such as Jeremy
Kushnier (who
starred in 'Footloose'
on Broadway and is currently touring with 'Rent'),
and Scott
Bairstow (who
has appeared in the popular TV show 'Party of
Five'),
started their careers at Rainbow Stage.
POPULAR
BROADWAY SHOWS - 2007
marks Rainbow Stage's 53rd season. Our direction in presenting new,
full scale productions for our audience is the way of the future.
With the addition of the Winter Production, we are able to extend
this entertainment and allow more opportunity for Manitoba talent
to flourish.
LOCAL
ECONOMIC SPIN-OFFS - Your
support helps ensure that the quality, large scale musical productions that Rainbow Stage is
famous for, will continue for many seasons to come. That support helps
to further our position as a major tourist attraction. We put your
